What is BookNordics
BookNordics is an OTA (Online Travel Agency) specialized for Nordic Adventures. On BookNordics tourists can book their entire holiday, meaning you’ll find flights, accommodation, rental cars, cruises and many adventures. If you sell any of the above in Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Greenland, Faroe Islands or Denmark, BookNordics is the OTA to be listed on!
The idea for BookNordic came to some Nordic locals during their beach-holiday in Portugal. They thought to themselves, that they were probably on one of the most mainstream holidays out there and realized that the beauty of their home must be shared. With its historic and ancient cities, fjords, hot springs, glaciers and icebergs, waterfalls, black sand beaches and northern lights the Nordic countries have a lot to offer.
Why sell on BookNordics
BookNordics is an OTA that started in 2016. It has become their goal to increase the popularity of the Nordic countries and to give international travelers the possibility to experience it.
- Provide your expertise as a local: As BookNordics is for Nordic experiences only you should make sure to stand out. Offer great experiences and show the beauty of your destination.
- Large marketplace: As it aims to promote the Nordic countries only this service platform has over 2000 adventures. This means the competition will be high. However, by being listed your visibility will increase and you’ll get the chance to get recognized on a bigger scale.
Things to remember
BookNordics is an online marketplace for accommodation, tours and activities in Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Greenland, Faroe Islands or Denmark only. This means that you can only become their partner if you sell tours in these destinations. We've listed a couple of points that are important to acknowledge before you get registered:
- They're not live yet. As of June 2020, BookNordics have not yet launched. Therefore, you should be realistic about the number of bookings that you'll receive from them in the next 12-24 months
- Payment: Once a booking has been made through BookNordics you’ll receive the money minus the commission on a monthly basis together with a monthly statement.
